    I’m trying to research past lease history for minerals in Converse County. I’ve heard there are county records but I’m not sure if these are online or only available at the courthouse. Has anyone here had success pulling historical lease data, and if so, how difficult was it?

    Most counties keep physical books, but some have scanned their records online. Converse County does have a limited search site.

    Try calling the county clerk’s office first — they’ll tell you exactly what’s available online vs. in person.
